Seattle artist Angela Scott creates striking abstract works that use a language of hand-drawn marks to explore issues of materiality, differentiation, and change.  Her work is marked by particular sensitivity to the liquid and transparent qualities of oil paint. Through repetition of simple geometric forms such as circles and squares, she builds complex compositions that explore ideas of variation, time, and the relationship between individuals and a larger community or environment. 

Angela Scott holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.  Her work can be found in many private and corporate collections throughout the Northwest.
